Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Careli Language Hub platform and website operated by Careli Ltd ("Careli", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. About Careli

Careli Language Hub is a B2B marketplace platform connecting UK language schools, international education agents and verified host families. We provide software, tools and services to facilitate student placement management and safeguarding compliance.

2. Who Can Use Careli

Careli is a business-to-business platform. You may use our services if you are:

• An accredited UK language school
• A registered international education agent
• A verified host family approved through our inspection process

By registering, you confirm that you are authorised to enter into these terms on behalf of your organisation.

3. Subscriptions and Payment

Schools subscribe on a monthly basis at the tier selected during registration (Starter £295/month, Professional £395/month, Premium £695/month at founding partner rates).

Agents subscribe on an annual basis (Individual £499/year, Team £999/year, Enterprise £1,800/year at founding partner rates).

Founding partner rates are locked in for life for customers who join during our launch period. Future customers will be subject to standard pricing.

All prices are exclusive of VAT where applicable. Payment is processed securely. Invoices are issued automatically upon payment.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial periods. To cancel, contact us at info@carelilanguagehub.co.uk.

5. Your Responsibilities

As a user of the Careli platform, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and up-to-date information on your profile
• Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
• Use the platform only for its intended purpose of student placement management
• Comply with all applicable safeguarding legislation including KCSIE 2025 and Working Together 2026
• Notify us immediately of any safeguarding concerns or data breaches
• Not share access credentials with unauthorised third parties

6. School Responsibilities

Language schools using Careli retain full responsibility for:

• Final approval of all student placements — Careli never assigns a student without school confirmation
• Maintaining their own safeguarding policies and procedures
• Ensuring host families meet their own accreditation body requirements
• Compliance with British Council, English UK or other accreditation body standards

7. Host Family Obligations

Host families approved on the Careli platform agree to:

• Maintain the standards verified during their Careli home inspection
• Complete the Careli induction programme before welcoming students
• Report any welfare concerns to the school immediately
• Undergo annual re-inspection to maintain certified status
• Not advertise homestay availability through unauthorised channels while registered on Careli

8. Platform Availability

We aim to maintain platform availability at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We will notify users of planned maintenance in advance where possible. Careli is not liable for losses arising from temporary unavailability.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Careli platform and website — including design, copy, software and data structures — is the property of Careli Ltd and protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works without our written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

Careli provides a platform to facilitate connections between schools, agents and host families. We are not a party to individual placement agreements and are not liable for:

• The conduct of any school, agent or host family on the platform
• Losses arising from individual placements or student welfare incidents
• Indirect or consequential losses of any kind

Our total liability to you in any 12-month period shall not exceed the subscription fees paid by you in that period.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the platform if you breach these terms, fail to meet safeguarding standards, or act in a way that could bring Careli into disrepute. We will give reasonable notice except where immediate action is required to protect student welfare.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
